Transparent rules for plugin delivery, server compatibility, defect resolution, marketplace purchases, statutory cooling-off rights, and custom commission refunds.
This Digital Product & Refund Policy explains what you receive when you download or purchase software products engineered by OneStudio (formerly RayzStudio), how compatibility and defect remedies work, and how cancellations and refunds are handled for both off-the-shelf digital products and custom development commissions.
This policy operates alongside our Terms of Service (/terms) and Software Licensing Terms (/licensing). Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory statutory consumer rights you hold under applicable law (including the India Consumer Protection Act 2019, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and EU Directive (EU) 2019/770 on contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services).
Distribution Channels: OneStudio currently distributes off-the-shelf Minecraft plugins through verified third-party marketplaces:
Before purchasing or deploying any OneStudio digital product, you must verify that your server environment meets the published technical specifications listed on the product's detail page (/products):
Bug Fixes & Compatibility Patches: Commercial plugin purchases on BuiltByBit include access to published bug-fix releases and routine maintenance updates uploaded to the marketplace listing. While we strive to keep active plugins updated for major Minecraft releases, purchasing a standalone plugin license does not create an indefinite legal obligation to rewrite the software for every future Minecraft version forever.
How to Report a Defect: If you encounter a bug, startup error, or discrepancy from the published product description, please open a support ticket in our Discord community (https://dsc.gg/rayzstudio) or email help@onestudio.digital with: (1) your plugin version, (2) output of /version on your server, (3) full console stack-trace logs, and (4) steps to reproduce the issue.
When you purchase a plugin on BuiltByBit (or another external marketplace), the payment transaction is processed through that marketplace's checkout system and governed by both the marketplace's terms of service and applicable law.
OneStudio cannot unilaterally override a marketplace's technical payment system, nor do we use marketplace rules as an excuse to deny your statutory consumer rights. If a refund is approved by OneStudio or required by law for a marketplace purchase, the refund is issued back through the original marketplace payment transaction, after which the marketplace revokes download access to future updates for that license.
Because compiled plugin JAR files are delivered immediately as DRM-free binaries that cannot be physically "returned" once downloaded, refund requests for off-the-shelf digital products are evaluated as follows:
Digital Downloads: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16(m)) and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (Regulation 37), consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK ordinarily have fourteen (14) days from the date of transaction to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content without giving a reason.
When the Withdrawal Exception Applies: Under EU and UK law, this 14-day cooling-off right is lost once the download or supply of digital content begins ONLY IF: (a) you gave your prior express consent to start the download during the 14-day cooling-off period, (b) you acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the download began, and (c) the trader (or marketplace) provided confirmation of that consent and acknowledgment. Where a marketplace or checkout flow does not satisfy those statutory conditions, your statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
Custom Services: For bespoke custom development commissions, under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU (goods/digital content made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized) and Regulation 36 of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you instruct us in writing to begin engineering work immediately during the 14-day period, you remain liable to pay the proportionate cost of work actually performed up to the time you notify us of cancellation, and the right to cancel expires once the custom service is fully performed.
Custom software, web, and design commissions are governed by Section 09 of our Terms of Service (/terms#cancellations-and-refunds) and your project-specific Custom Development Agreement (/service-agreement):
To request a cancellation, report a conformity defect, or request a refund, contact Ishan: Same As Contact Information by email at help@onestudio.digital or open a private ticket on our Discord server (https://dsc.gg/rayzstudio) with:
1. Your name, email address, and Discord username; 2. Proof of purchase (BuiltByBit transaction ID or commission invoice number); 3. Whether you are exercising a pre-work cancellation, mid-project termination, or reporting a technical defect (including server logs if reporting a defect).
Processing Time: We acknowledge all requests within 48 hours. Approved refunds are initiated within five (5) business days back to the original payment method used for the transaction.
