Clear, enforceable rules governing your use of onestudio.digital, custom software and UI/UX commissions delivered by the OneStudio team, and off-the-shelf digital products.
OneStudio (formerly RayzStudio) is an independent, unincorporated software engineering and digital design collective based in India. While projects and products are engineered collaboratively by the OneStudio team (comprising lead and contributing developers, system architects, and UI/UX designers), OneStudio does not represent itself as an incorporated company (such as a Pvt. Ltd. or LLP).
Single Contracting Entity for Legal Certainty: Because an unincorporated collective is not a separate legal person under Indian law, all commercial contracts, client invoices, payment accounts, and intellectual property assignments for OneStudio are legally executed through our designated adult Primary Contracting Operator: Ishan, located in Pune, Maharastra, India ("Operator", "OneStudio", "we", "us", or "our"). Team members, contributors, and subcontractors act under internal agreements with the Operator, ensuring you have a single, legally accountable party for every transaction.
[TEAM & CAPACITY DISCLOSURE: OneStudio is operated by a collaborative team of developers, architects, and designers. Because OneStudio is not an incorporated corporate entity, all commercial agreements, payment processing, and intellectual property assignments are legally executed by and centralized through our Primary Contracting Operator / Representative Ishan Dayal.]
Customer Age & Capacity Requirement: Under Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and equivalent international rules, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and legally competent to enter into binding commercial contracts to commission custom services from OneStudio. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review, agree to, and execute the contract and authorize all payments on your behalf.
These Terms govern your use of the website located at onestudio.digital (the "Website"), your submission of project inquiries, and—unless superseded by a signed project-specific contract—all custom development services and digital products provided by the OneStudio team.
To ensure clarity across our offerings, these Terms work together with our other published policies. In the event of a direct conflict between documents, the following order of priority applies (from highest to lowest):
You may browse the Website, inspect our portfolio and documentation, and use our project briefing forms for legitimate commercial or technical inquiries. When accessing the Website or communicating with the OneStudio team, you agree not to:
We do not claim arbitrary or unlimited discretion to erase paid customer rights. However, if you engage in a material violation of Section 03 (such as attacking our infrastructure, submitting fraudulent chargebacks, or harassing OneStudio team members), we may take proportionate protective measures, including blocking your IP address from the Website, restricting access to our community Discord server, or refusing future commercial engagements.
Restricting your access to community support channels due to abusive conduct does not terminate your existing perpetual license to continue running previously purchased, fully paid software on your servers in accordance with its license terms, unless the purchase itself was fraudulent or unpaid.
OneStudio provides two distinct categories of offerings:
A. Off-the-Shelf Digital Products: Pre-built Minecraft plugins (such as RayzWardrobe, RayzLivelyWorld, ChunkLock, and RayzShards) distributed through third-party marketplaces (SpigotMC and BuiltByBit). These are licensed as standard products on a per-release basis and are governed by our Digital Product & Refund Policy (/refunds) and Software Licensing Terms (/licensing).
B. Commissioned Engineering & Design Services: Bespoke services delivered by our engineering and design team, including custom Minecraft plugin development ($50+), plugin architecture and design ($25–$50+), server performance profiling and Spark/JFR audits ($40+), Velocity proxy/network setups ($35+), custom websites and web applications ($75+), UI/UX design systems ($50+), and Discord bots/automation ($35+).
How Project Scope is Agreed: Submitting a project brief on our Website does not create a binding contract or obligate either party. A commission only begins when both parties agree in writing (via a signed Custom Development Agreement / Statement of Work or explicit written confirmation via email/Discord) on: (1) the written functional specification, (2) explicit exclusions, (3) target runtime/environment versions, (4) milestone schedule, and (5) flat price.
Team Allocation & Project Management: Depending on the discipline (Java/PaperMC backend, Next.js frontend, or Figma UI/UX), the Operator assigns appropriate specialists from the OneStudio team to execute your project. The Operator remains fully responsible to you for coordinating the team, ensuring code quality, and meeting the agreed specification.
Change Requests: Any feature, mechanic, third-party integration, or UI screen not explicitly listed in the agreed written specification is outside the initial scope. You may request additions or modifications during development ("Change Requests"). We will assess the technical impact and provide a written quote for the additional fee and timeline adjustment before implementing any Change Request.
Client Dependencies: Timely delivery depends on your prompt provision of required server specifications, test environment access, API keys, custom assets (textures, models, copy), and feedback. Any delivery timeline estimate is automatically extended by delays in receiving required client materials.
Milestone Delivery & Inspection Period: Upon completing a milestone or final deliverable, our team will provide a testable build, staging preview, or verification demonstration. Unless a different period is specified in your Statement of Work, you have seven (7) calendar days from delivery ("Acceptance Period") to test the deliverable against the agreed written specification and report any reproducible defects.
Deemed Acceptance: A deliverable is deemed accepted upon the earliest of: (a) your written confirmation of acceptance, (b) your deployment of the deliverable to a live public/production environment for commercial or player use, or (c) the expiration of the 7-day Acceptance Period without a written report of material non-conformity with the agreed specification.
Payment Structure: Unless otherwise agreed in a Statement of Work, custom commissions require an upfront commencement deposit (typically 50% for standard projects, or split across defined milestones such as 40% upfront / 30% beta / 30% final delivery for larger architectures) before engineering work begins. Final source code repositories and unwatermarked production builds are released upon receipt of the final milestone payment.
Authorized Payment Channels Only: Direct commission payments must be paid only to the official invoice accounts designated by the Operator ([ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS — e.g., PayPal Commercial Invoices, Wise, Stripe, or Bank/UPI Transfer]). Payments made privately to an individual developer's personal wallet outside of an official OneStudio invoice are not recognized or guaranteed by OneStudio. OneStudio never collects or stores raw payment card numbers on this Website.
Taxes & Invoicing: All quoted prices are stated in US Dollars (USD) or Indian Rupees (INR) as specified on the quote. Unless a Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) is explicitly stated on an invoice, the Primary Contracting Operator operates below the mandatory GST registration threshold under Section 22 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (India), and no GST is charged or collected. Any payment processor currency conversion fees or cross-border wire charges imposed by your bank or payment provider are borne by the payer.
Late Payment & Suspension: Invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice (or within 7 calendar days if unstated). If a scheduled payment is overdue by more than 7 calendar days after written reminder, OneStudio may pause ongoing team engineering work and withhold delivery of unshipped milestones until the account is brought current. No license or intellectual property transfer takes effect for unpaid deliverables.
To avoid ambiguity, we strictly distinguish between bug fixes, minor revisions, and new development:
We do not enforce unfair "blanket no-refund" clauses. Instead, cancellation and refund eligibility is determined transparently based on the type of purchase, the stage of work completed by our team, and mandatory consumer law:
Clear intellectual property boundaries protect both your server/business and our team's reusable engineering tools. Full licensing details are set out in our Software Licensing Terms (/licensing) and summarized below:
Compatibility & Server Environment Realities: Software engineered by OneStudio is tested against the specific Minecraft version, Java runtime (e.g., Java 21+), server platform (e.g., PaperMC 1.21.x, Velocity), or web stack stated on the product listing or Statement of Work. Because OneStudio does not control Mojang Synergies AB, Microsoft, PaperMC, or third-party plugin authors, we cannot guarantee that software will remain compatible with future unreleased game updates or unverified third-party plugins without maintenance updates.
Customer Backup & Operational Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining regular, verified off-site backups of your production server worlds, player databases, and configuration files before deploying any new plugin, schema migration, or configuration change.
Exclusions for Unauthorized Modifications: OneStudio is not responsible for server crashes, data corruption, or performance degradation caused by: (a) modifications made to our code or configuration files by you or third parties without our approval, (b) running software on unsupported server forks or outdated Java runtimes contrary to documentation, or (c) outages of external services (such as Mojang authentication servers, Discord API, or your VPS host).
Proportionate Limitation of Liability (Protecting Both Operator & Team): To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the following limitations apply to the Operator and all OneStudio team members, developers, and contributors:
Grievance & Amicable Resolution Process: If you experience any issue with a deliverable, team member communication, payment, or website service, please contact our designated Grievance & Legal Contact (Ishan: Same As Contact Information) at help@onestudio.digital or via our official Discord support ticket channel (https://dsc.gg/rayzstudio). In compliance with the India Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we will acknowledge receipt of any formal complaint within forty-eight (48) hours and work in good faith to resolve it within thirty (30) calendar days.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Subject to the mandatory consumer protection carve-out below, any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Pune, Maharastra, India.
Preservation of Mandatory Consumer Rights: If you are acting as a consumer (an individual purchasing wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft, or profession) residing in the European Union, EEA, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer laws, this choice of Indian law and court jurisdiction does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, nor does it restrict your statutory right to bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction where required by law.
Changes to These Terms (No Retroactive Modification): We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal changes, new services, or operational improvements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Updated Terms apply strictly to future inquiries, purchases, and commissions entered into after the publication date. Posting revised Terms on this Website will never retroactively alter the pricing, IP ownership, refund rights, or warranty terms of an existing, active Custom Development Agreement without your express written consent.
